trolling the interrubes today I came across a link to  this video.
All of you American Idol fans should take a peak at what the British version looks like. :)

So i will go in today to work at some point and see what the boss will offer me in terms of switching to the sales force. There are a few things I am hoping he will agree to the most important of which is keep me on the health insurance. I am still looking for other jobs just in case but I think if I don't take this offer I won't be able to collect so some job with insurance is better than no job without.

Then there is this article about the son of Matt Weiner. How adorable is this little Beau Brummel?

So gardening time is fast approaching and  I am curious to see what other people think are the best things to grow. If you had a little patch of green what would you put in it?

Thanks to everyone for their advice yesterday. Sometimes hearing how a situation looks from outside objective perspectives is just what the dr.professor ordered. For those of you who listened to me walk through my options and offered advice in the last week or so I appreciate you more than you can imagine.

We have an Etsy store!! Come check out some of the items we have put up and spread the word please. There are some lovely pieces up and there will be more in the future. If you have something particular in mind let me know. :)

More Intertube fun later!

I grow green beans, heirloom and plum tomatoes, leeks, cuban peppers and asparagus. Squash take up too much room and I can usually get them free from others or cheap at the farmers market. I might do beets this year.

I've also heard them called banana peppers or Italian peppers. They are light green with a yellow cast to them. They are not hot. They have to be sauted for the flavor to come out. They taste bland raw; sauted they are sweetish tasting.

My dad grew them in the garden as a kid and called them banana or Italian peppers. When I moved to Florida, I saw them in the market called them Cuban peppers. They like hot temps and sunshine to really grow well. Last year was the first time I tried growing them since I lived in Florida. I got a couple, but not too many. Not enough sun and heat for them last summer I think.

I have looked everywhere for exclamation seeds but they seem never to be in stock. Perhaps I can find heirloom ones somewhere.

what i would put in or generally do? LOL the latter is rhubarb and weeds (which if you're wanting some rhubarb I think we need to split it this year) otherwise tomatoes and cucumbers would be my pick.

a Wise Woman once told me that weeds are just herbs with no found purpose. Just look at yourself as ahead of the discovery curve when you see those weeds.

Soooooo shiny.

Are you likely to make the chakra sun-catcher again at some point? Inquiring minds want to know. :D
