To all the people in my life
Jan. 29th, 2006 09:58 pmOne of the women i work with has a daughter who is dying. She called today to let us know that it is a matter of hours. Her daughter is 36 with two kids. There is nothing much to say besides Joyce is on my mind.
Never assume the people in your life know how much you appreciate them.
The only thing people want is to know they are important to one other person.It doesn't matter if it's your partner, child or the cashier at the grocery store, all we are looking for in this life is to make that connection with one other person who will make us feel like the center of the universe if only for a few minutes.
Hug the people you love. Make eye contact. Smile. Connect.
