*snickers* I was about 12 and on summer holidays - there was a HUGE thunderstorm going on and I was watching one of those crappy midday movies. Mum was bugging me to eat some lunch but I didn't want to leave the movie (not even in the adds) to get something, so I kept on telling her yeah yeah soon.
The lightning struck a nearby tower and the power went off. Ergo no tv and no more midday movie. So I came downstairs, and (very placatingly/sarcastically as only a teenager can do) I told my mum "ok, well NOW I will cook some lunch in the microwave, happy?"
....
Took me until I closed the door on the microwave to realise that no power not only = no tv, but no microwave... I had like a piece of fruit and some bread and butter instead. *grins* Gotta LOVE a slow brain like mine :D
