So for me this is a rare update about my Weight Watchers journey.

Mike and I started WW in September and I will be honest I didn't think it would work any better than a hundred other plans I have tried. Of course .. i was wrong.

I started out at 189. Yep. That is right. scary ugly number for someone who has a family history of diabeties. They gave me 24 points daily and those fun flex points too. (35)
This morning was my first official weigh in of the New Year. Now granted things since Christmas have been miserable and I have had to force myself to eat every day for about a week now with varying degrees of success but this morning the scale said 173 which brings me to a total of 16 pounds total loss so far. That was very happy making. :) The down side to this is they lowered my points. *sigh* I know this is the way it goes but geeze..
So now this, combined with other factors, means that thing where I have to *shudder* exercise is even more important. My goal is to up my activity points in these areas -
yoga
sex
walking/hiking
weight training (sigh... this one is uber necessary)
No more not finding the time. No more putting it off for other people. My body won't let me slack off any more.

Wish me luck :)
